This type of feeder uses vibration to feed materials on a line. A vibratory feeder is typically used to move small objects and fragile product, such as pharmaceuticals, snack foods, and small parts. Best known for their gentle handling of product. Vibratory feeders produce a linear motion that provides smooth, uniform, volumetric flow which is fully adjustable. Units are mounted horizontally, requiring no gravitational assistance for product conveying. They accomplish horizontal conveying of components and are used to handle irregular flow of parts from upstream equipment, creating a buffering zone and smooth flow for further processes. Screens can be added to drop out unwanted dust, particles and broken pieces.
