About Forsberg's, Inc.

Forsbergs, Inc., was founded by Fred Forsberg in 1932 when he designed and built the first gravity separator in Dauphin, Manitoba, the demand for his gravity separator continued to grow. He then moved to Thief River Falls, Minnesota in 1933 and the Forsberg grain cleaning and hulling company was borne.

Since then, it has been a history of growth for the Forsberg name. A new 50,000 square foot facility was constructed in 1976 that currently houses the corporate offices, production, engineering and modern test facility.

Currently the Forsberg name is recognized world wide as leaders in the separation industry, from Russia to Argentina; Venezuela to Canada and throughout the continental United States, Forsbergs quality and dependability are serving all types of separation processors.

Forsbergs primary equipment line is the vacuum gravity separator of which they are pioneers, also, their line consists of pressure type gravity separators; vacuum and pressure destoners; screeners and screen-aires; hullers; Aspirators.

Many of the industrial giants of the United States and Europe utilize Forsberg Separation Machinery in the cleaning of food products, cereal grains, plastic, minerals, metals, rubber products and numerous other materials.

The continuing development of new products brings a need to find better, faster methods of product purity. This challenge is being effectively met by Forsbergs’ on-going testing and machine development.

The tradition continues that Fred Forsberg, the founder, always said “We can well serve the needs of our neighbors by building the most dependable equipment available to them. Remember, that our family name goes on every machine, and each machine must be worthy of it.”
