Description
- Application: designed to place plastic or metal caps on a wide range of containers
- High precision, electrically-driven ball screw movement
- Includes:
- Pick & place mechanism in stainless steel - cap is delivered to the chuck which then comes down holding the cap
- Infeed screw system with stepper motor
- Automatic start and stop with presence or absence of containers
- Jamming clutches with electric signal for shutdown on product jamming
- Floor level cap elevator
- Also includes cap chute:
- Stainless steel
- Designed & tested for each cap to avoid jamming
- Cap demand sensor to start and stop cap feeder
- Bipolar stepper motor with 200 steps per revolution
- Container height: adjustable 7 - 14 inches
- All shafts from 0.25 - 2.5 inches are 304 stainless steel construction
- Stainless steel electric enclosures for servo motors
- Air requirements: 5 CFM @ 80 psi
- Electrical: 220 volts, 60 Hz, 15 amps
