About Skin Packagings
This type of equipment applies a thin film to tightly seal a product to a card. Air is removed from the space between the product and the film to form a skin-tight packaging in the shape of the product. A vacuum is typically used to remove the air. Skin packaging creates a visually appealing display, and allows the consumer to examine the product through the plastic film.
