The Markem-Imaje SmartDate X40 is a professional 53 mm thermal transfer overprinter engineered for high-resolution date, lot, batch, and variable data coding on flexible packaging materials. This robust industrial printer supports both intermittent and continuous printing modes with speeds up to ~600 mm/sec (~23.6 in/sec), making it suitable for mid‐ to high-speed production lines in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods applications.
