Equipment Description
Used Shanklin HS-2 with:
- Overlap sealing model combines high speed and smooth product travel with quick and easy size changes. These machines produce packages with neat trim seals on both ends and a transparent overlap seam on the bottom.
- One person film loading capability
- Well suited for wrapping irregular-shaped product
- Package size:
- Minimum: 2 inches wide x 0.375 inch high x 3 inches long
- Maximum: 16 inches wide x 6 inches high x 60 inches long
- Width and height combination cannot exceed maximum film width
- Maximum film width: 40 inches flat
- Conveyor height: 35.5 inches without casters; 41.5 inches with casters
- Packaging speed: 100 packages per minute maximum, dependent on product and specification
- Film speed: 120 linear feet per minute maximum
- Longitudinal seal: static seal
- Main drive: 1 horsepower DC motor with SCR variable speed control
- Compressed air: 0.5 CFM free air at 60 PSI
